San Fernando receives donations from firms

THE local government of San Fernando recently received donations from two firms to help in relief efforts amid the pandemic.

The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (Pagcor) donated more than P81,000 worth of different types of food.

Pepsi-Cola Products Philippines, Inc. donated more than 100 pieces of Covid-19 Rapid Antibody Test Kits worth some P61,000, which were distributed in the city.

Mayor Edwin "EdSa" Santiago, City Health Officer-in-Charge Dr. Carlos Mercado, and several frontline personnel of the City received the donations.

This was a great help to the local government in addition to the distribution of aid to Fernandino and frontline personnel, the officials said. (PR)
