CLARK FREEPORT -- SM City Clark (SMCK) brought smiles to young Aetas from Porac town.

SMCK officials led by mall manager Jerwin Jalandoni recently gave “Bears of Joy” to 120 families including Aeta children in Barangay Diaz.

Jalandoni was joined by SMCK’s assistant mall manager Marianne Miranda, senior marketing manager Jomar Tanchiatco, and public relations manager Venus Manalang.

Representatives from the Customer Relations Services, Human Resource Department, Foodcourt, and Operations also joined the gift-giving activity.

The gift-giving is part of the shopping mall’s Employee Volunteerism program wherein employees take some time off to volunteer in sharing gifts to local communities around the mall.

The annual gift-giving project also encourages employees to find the deeper meaning of Christmas by sharing their blessings to children in need.

The project is under SM Cares, a division of the SM Foundation.

For the past years, the gift-giving project has brought smiles to thousands of Filipinos nationwide.
