THE Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) honored, in simple rites, four out-going board members who have finished three-terms in office.

The SP presented resolutions to former 2nd District Board Member Anthony Joseph Torres, 3rd District Board Member Rosve Henson, 3rd District Board Member Ferdinand Labung and 1st District Board Member Cherry Manalo for their “invaluable contribution” to the legislative legacy of the 11th Sangguniang Panlalawigan.

All the former board members attended the opening of 12th Sangguniang Panlalawigan where they were given time to address the provincial council for the last time.

Former board member Torres won in the local race in Guagua and now serves as the town’s mayor. Former board members Henson and Labung attempted to run for mayor and congressional party-list representative, respectively, but both lost in the last elections.

Governor Dennis Pineda thanked the former board members for their contribution to the SP.
