St. Therese’s relic to visit PRO-3 chapel

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO The relic of St. Therese of the Child of Jesus is set to visit this capital city.

The relic of the female saint will be at the Police Regional Office III (PRO-3) chapel on January 26 from 10 AM to 1 PM.

The arrival of the relic of St. Therese of the Child of Jesus in Camp Olivas is part of this year’s tour themed “Lakbay tayo Saint Thérèse! Ka-Alagad, Kaibigan, Ka-Misyon”.

The pilgrim relic was welcomed in the country on January 2 and has visited several dioceses, archdioceses, apostolic vicariates, and selected military chaplaincies.

The arrival of St. Therese of the Child of Jesus’ relic from Lisieux, France coincided her 150th birth anniversary.

It is also the fifth time the relic is in the country after the first four tours in 2000, 2008, 2015, and 2018.

Kapampangan devotees of the saint are invited to welcome and view the relic at the PRO-3 Post Chapel.

Visitors are reminded to practice minimum health and safety standards to avoid any inconvenience.

St. Therese of the Child of Jesus is known as the patron saint of missions and of florists.
