Villages get service vans

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO Governor Dennis Pineda led the distribution of 100 service vans to 100 barangays of Pampanga at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center yesterday.

Pineda said that the vehicles were purchased by the provincial government for the use of the respective barangay councils in addressing emergency and logistical needs in the barangay.

"I urge the barangays to take care of the vehicles and allocate maintainance funding for the upkeep of the vehicles," Pineda said.

Pineda said that the first year of insurance of the vehicles have been shouldered by the provincial government.

Another 100 units are currently in processes for more barangays in Pampanga.
