SM CITY Tarlac mall admin joined the nationwide Sportsfest 2019 where they played larong pinoy such as patintero, sipa, kadang kadang and touch ball as part of SM Life program to strengthen teamwork and camaraderie among employees on September 27.

"This is the first time that we in SM Supermalls hold our first Super Prime Olympics, a Sportsfest conducted in all SM Malls nationwide. We hope that this activity of the SM Life program will help promote life balance," said Michelle Charlene B. Chua, assistant mall manager of SM City Tarlac.

The Human Resources Department (HRD) of SM City Tarlac led by Lesleyan Paguio are very eager in facilitating such engaging activities for employees to experience a happy workplace amidst busy schedules.

"We believe that this sportsfest is a good venue to promote camaraderie and rapport and teach the value of teamwork. Team skills, or the ability to work well with others, are some of the most valuable attributes an employee can have," Paguio noted.

Since its conception in 2015, SM Life aims to strengthen the company's commitment to improve the lifestyle of its employees and to develop a sound mind and body with activities that create a more fun, satisfying and positive work environment.

The programs also help equip employees to be healthier, more productive and better engaged to the organization.

SM Life is designed to improve employee engagement as SM believes that wellness is a critical element of success. (PR)
