SWU-Phinma mopalambo sa ubang sporting events

GILAUMANG mas moaktibo ang Southwestern University (SWU-Phinma) sa nagkadaiyang sporting events sa paglusad sa ilang sports club program karong tuiga.

Nagkanayon si SWU-Phinma athletic director Pio Solon nga kining maong sports club program idugang sa ilang kasamtangang athletic sports program.

Matod ni Solon nga aduna na sila karon sports club alang sa football, volleyball, basketball, taekwondo, Olympic weightlifting ug badminton nga alang sa elementary, high school ug college levels.

Matod ni Solon nga ang sports club pagadumalaon sa ilang kuhaong coaches nga mao ang mogiya sa mga estudyante aron mahashasan ang abilidad niini sa natad sa paugnat sa kusog nga ilang apilan.

“We see this program as a sustainable root for our grassroots. Instead of sending them to internet cafés, we encourage them to play sports and get the chance to represent the school,” matod ni Solon.

Ning maong kalambuan, malaumon si Solon nga mas daghan na unya sila sa mga representante sa multi-sporting events sama sa Cebu City Olympics, Central Visayas Regional Athletic Association (Cviraa), the Milo Little Olympics, the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. (Cesafi) ug Private Schools Athletic Association (Prisaa).
