“As of the moment, the Japanese Government is waiting for the signing of the Agent Agreement between the Japanese Government and the Department of Finance (DOF),” ingon ni Domingo.

Dugang pa, “As soon as it is signed, Crown Agents, which is the designated Japanese procurement agent, will work with the DOF and the PMT to finalize the selection of the legal, financial and technical consultants to be hired to help implement the project. Thereafter, another selection or bidding process for a qualified entity who shall be responsible for the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the WTE facility to be built will be made,” niya pa.

(Jeepy P. Compio/CIO)
