A FEMALE doctor was shot dead Monday, April 15, a year after her niece was also killed in Calbayog City, Samar.

Initial reports said the victim was identified as Dr. Vicky Rumohr, aunt of slain Catherine Rumohr-Johnson.

Rumohr, a dentist, was already lifeless when police arrived at the crime scene along the Magsaysay Boulevard Extension in the city around 5 p.m.

A single gunshot wound pierced through her left cheek and out of her nape. Responders said Rumohr died on the spot.

Rumohr-Johnson was also killed by a still unidentified gunman while she was taking her morning routine in the city in February last year.
