NSPPO fetes cops for outstanding community relations efforts

THE Northern Samar Police Provincial Office (NSPPO) awarded several police officers for their exemplary efforts during this year’s 27th Police Community-Relations Month culmination program.

The Outstanding Municipal Community Affairs and Development Police Non-Commissioned Officers are Staff Sergeant Rolly Beruico of Catarman Municipal Police Station, Corporal Samson Cerbito of 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company, and Patrolman Rocky Tomenio of 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company.

Corporal Melvin Monticalvo and Corporal Gregrio Pelito were also given recognition for their contribution extended to the advocacies and programs of NSPPO.

Colonel Alfredo Tadefa, acting police provincial director, along with Northern Samar Vice Governor Clarence Dato, who represented Governor Edwin Marino Ongchuan, personally distributed the awards.

In his message, Dato lauded the awardees “for demonstrating relentless effort in the delivery of service to the community.”

He also cited Tadefa’s leadership and the “significant role of the police and the community in maintaining peace and sustaining progress towards a prosperous and peaceful Northern Samar.”
