2 Zamboanga del Norte’s most wanted nabbed

POLICEMEN backed by soldiers have arrested in separate law enforcement operations two of the most wanted persons in the province of Zamboanga del Norte.

The Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula identified them as Dionesia Gonzales, 63, the number one most wanted person in Polanco town and Jaylyn Macoycruz, the number nine most wanted person in Sibuco municipality.

The police said Gonzales was arrested around 11:30 a.m. Monday in Tanzang Luma village, Imus, Cavite. Gonzales is facing seven-count rape case and has standing warrant of arrest with no recommended bail issued by the court of Dipolog City.

Macoycruz was arrested by joint police and military troops around 1:10 p.m. Monday in Lunday village, Sibuco, Zamboanga del Norte.
