THE Zamboanga City Health Office is conducting the second round of bivalent oral polio vaccine (bOPV) vaccinations until March 1 in a total of 98 villages.

Dr. Dulce Amor Miravite, head of the City Health Office, said this round targets to immunize up to 205,000 children who are 10 years old and younger.

“Our health workers will be going from house to house,” Miravite said.

She said that aside from house visits, the vaccination drive, dubbed Sabayang Patak Kontra Polio, will also have fixed posts in health centers, malls, and the city’s airport and seaport. (SunStar Zamboanga)
