3 arrested; P100,000 ‘shabu’ seized in anti-drug ops

THREE suspected big-time drug personalities were arrested while some P100,000 worth of illegal drugs were seized in a drug bust in Zamboanga City, the police said.

The Police Station 7 of the Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO) identified the arrested suspects as Krismier Tan, 29; Almadal Saluso, 24; and Mariz Hernandez, 30.

The police said the suspects were arrested at 6:50 a.m. Monday at Doña Maria Drive in Tetuan village and confiscated some P100,000 worth of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride, locally known as “shabu,” packed in 14 heat-sealed plastic sachets and P200 marked money consisting of two P100 bills.

The suspects were detained while appropriate charges are set to be filed against them, the police said.
