4 nabbed in Zamboanga Peninsula anti-drug operations

OPERATIVES of the Police Regional Office (PRO)-Zamboanga Peninsula have arrested four people, including a high-value target (HVT) drug personality, in separate anti-illegal drug operations in the region, the police reported Thursday, August 20, 2020.

Police Captain Edwin Duco, PRO-Zamboanga Peninsula information officer, identified the HVT drug personality as Abdullah Mulok Itabuan, 21, and the other three arrested suspects as Abdulwalid Pulalon, 30; Nur-in Jamang Titing, 32; and, Joeric Aizon, 28.

Duco said that Itabuan, listed by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) as Top 6, was arrested in a buy-bust operation around 1:50 p.m. Wednesday in Purok Talisay A, Kawit village, Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur.

Duco said the joint police and PDEA team recovered from the possession of Itabuan some four grams of suspected shabu worth P27,000 and P500 marked money.

Duco said Pulalon was arrested in possession of two grams of suspected shabu and P500 marked money in a buy-bust operation around 2:45 p.m. Wednesday in Sinunuc village, Zamboanga City.

He said seized from Titing were some five grams of suspected shabu worth P40,000 and P500 marked money when arrested in a buy-bust operation around 4:20 p.m. Wednesday in Talon-Talon village, Zamboanga City.

He said the arresting team recovered from Aizon some P10,500 worth of suspected shabu and P200 marked money in a buy-bust operation around 1:20 a.m. Thursday in Tumaga village, Zamboanga City
