Ylagan said the four surrendered around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday in Santa Maria village, Leon Postigo, Zamboanga del Norte.

The surrenderers were members of the Regional Urban Committee of the NPA’s Western Mindanao Regional Party Committee.

Ylagan said they surrendered as they wish to live peaceful lives and follow the series of negotiations initiated by the police in Zamboanga del Norte.

He said the surrenderers will be processed to be able to avail of the government programs intended for returnees. (SunStar Zamboanga)
