A TOP Army official reminded a group of students who completed a military immersion program to make a habit of praying before making a decision.

Brigadier General Alfredo Rosario Jr., Army’s 602nd Infantry Brigade commander said the youth should make a habit of praying for the choices they make because ultimately a single person’s great decision will have an impact on the welfare of the country.

Around 95 senior high school students from Carmen National High School in North Cotabato completed earlier this week a four-day immersion program.

“As young as they are, they should learn to be passionate about the country and the Filipino people,” Rosario said.

“Life is a choice. And in life, people are expected to make decisions that will direct the course of their lives,” he said.

He also spoke about patriotism, idealism and stressed on the importance of being able to discern between expectation and reality. (Bong Garcia/SunStar Philippines)
