Crime group member nabbed in a hospital

POLICE operatives have arrested a wanted person with alleged ties to the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) in a law enforcement operation in Zamboanga City.

Noel Mohammad Anduhol, 26, was served with an arrest warrant at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 14, at the Zamboanga City Medical Center (ZCMC).

The suspect is presently admitted at the ZCMC and is being guarded by policemen.

Chief Inspector Helen Galvez, Police Regional Office Zamboanga Peninsula information officer, said Anduhol is a member of the Barahama Ali crime group, has ties with the Abu Sayyaf and is listed as the Top 6 Most Wanted Person in Zamboanga Sibugay.

Anduhol has standing warrants of arrest for the crime of murder issued by the court of Ipil, Galvez said.

Anduhol was allegedly involved in a series of kidnapping and robbery incidents as well as in the proliferation of illegal drugs in his hometown of Tenan in Ipil.
