“This course aims to intensify the genetic improvement program for carabao and cattle in the region,” Sulay said.

The training team, who conducted the training, is composed of Livestock Technician Francisco Gamale, Jr. and staff from the Philippine Carabao Center (PCC).

The 18 participants of the training were confirmed as newly trained Artificial Insemination technicians during the culmination ceremony on Tuesday, October 26, in Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay.

Aside from Sulay, the others who attended the culmination ceremony were Dr. Cecilio Velez, Regional Center Director of PCC, and Dr. Elmer Nueva, Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Veterinarian. (SunStar Zamboanga)
