Member of carnapping syndicate arrested

AN ALLEGED member of a carnapping syndicate was arrested in the province of Zamboanga Sibugay, the police said Saturday, October 20.

The Police Station 7 of the Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO) identified the suspect as Clinton Sultan alias “Wako-Wako,” a resident of Sitio Salamat in San Roque village, Zamboanga City.

The police said Sultan was arrested around 6 a.m. Saturday in the town of R.T. Lim, Zamboanga Sibugay following a report that the suspect was seen heading to Sibuco, Zamboanga del Norte.

The police said the suspect was involved in the series of carnapping incidents in Zamboanga City.
