New hospital to rise in Zamboanga

A NEW medical facility, known as Metro Zamboanga Hospital, is set to rise in Zamboanga City.

This was announced by Mayor Maria Isabelle Climaco-Salazar, who said the new hospital will be built in Canelar Village.

Salazar said City Engineer Christopher Navarro has formally turned over the approved plans and building permits of Metro Zamboanga Hospital to the Board of Directors Wednesday afternoon.

The mayor said the hospital, a private undertaking, will be an added boost to the growing medical industry in this city.

At present, there are seven private hospital tha tare operating in this city. (SunStar Zamboanga)
