Police nab no. 3 most wanted person

LAWMEN have arrested one of the most wanted persons in a police operation in Zamboanga del Norte province, the police said Thursday, October 04.

Chief Inspector Helen Galvez, Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula information officer, identified the arrested fugitive as Madjunie Tarang, 36, a fisherman.

Galvez said the suspect was arrested at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday in Osukan village, Labason town. Tarang is listed as the number three most wanted person of this town.

She said Tarang has standing warrant of arrest for the crime of rape in relation to Republic Act 7610 otherwise known as Special Protection of Children against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act, with no recommended bail issued by the court in Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte.
