Sibugay fugitive arrested

POLICEMEN have arrested one of the most wanted persons in Zamboanga Sibugay province, an official said Friday, July 13, 2018.

Chief Inspector Gerardo Tarroza, police chief of Naga, Zamboanga Sibugay, identified the arrested wanted person as Buharis Tassam alias Bogs, 31.

Tarroza said Tassam was arrested in a law enforcement operation around 2 p.m. Thursday in the sea water of Lapaz village, Naga town.

He said Tassam has standing warrant of arrest for the crime of murder with no recommended bail and is listed as the Top 2 Most Wanted Person in Naga.

Chief Inspector Helen Galvez, Police Regional Office (PRO)-Zamboanga Peninsula information officer, said the arrest of Tassam has brought to a total of 94 wanted persons arrested by the police in Zamboanga since January, this year.
