Sunnexdesk

THE Zamboanga City government has formally turned over to the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (Owwa) the documents certifying that the local government has made available a portion of Lot 60 in Cabatangan for the use of the agency.

Mayor Maria Isabelle Climaco-Salazar personally handed over to Owwa Administrator Hans Leo Cacdac the lot title, sketch plan, certification and other pertinent documents on Tuesday, April 17, at the City Hall.

An Owwa building, among others, will rise on a 1,500-square-meter portion of Lot 60. The area is covered by Transfer Certificate of Title No. T-184-702.

The turnover was witnessed by regional officials of Owwa and the Philippine Overseas Employment Agency (POEA).

Cacdac thanked Salazar and the city government for the generosity. He said it will be a big boost to Owwa’s delivery of services to its clients. (Bong Garcia/SunStar Philippines)
