Zamboanga health office inoculates over 260,000 residents

THE Zamboanga City Health Office announced that 260,266 residents are already fully vaccinated as of Tuesday, November 23.

Dr. Dulce Amore Miravite, city health officer, said Thursday, November 25, that they represent 37.46 percent of the target 694,696 eligible population to be inoculated.

Miravite said most of those fully vaccinated are frontliner personnel in essential sector who belong to the A4 priority group with 82,931.

The rest of the fully vaccinated individuals are as follows: individuals with comorbidity (A3), 67,237; indigents (A5), 49,628; senior citizens (A2), 35,484; workers in front-line health services (A1), 17,087; rest of the population, 7,587; rest of the pediatric population (ROPP), 307; and, pediatric with comorbidity, five.

Miravite said 436,774 representing 62.87 percent of the target 694,696 eligible population received their first dose of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) vaccines.

Miravite said additional vaccination centers were activated as they ramped up the vaccination program in this city.
