2 bandits killed, 2 soldiers hurt in Basilan clash

ZAMBOANGA CITY -- Two Abu Sayyaf bandits were killed while two soldiers were wounded in a clash in the hinterlands of Basilan, a military official said Sunday.

Special Operations Task Force-Basilan (SOTF-B) commander Colonel Alex Macario said the clash took place around 6:20 a.m. Sunday in the village of Etub-Etub, Sumisip municipality.
