Orientation on vocational course for healthcare workers set

THE Negros Occidental Scholarship Program Division (NOSPD) under the Office of the Governor will conduct an orientation on Vocational Careworker Course in Japan for the third batch of healthcare worker-scholars, specifically nurses, physical therapists, medical technologists and caregivers at the Negosyo Center in Bacolod City on August 17, 2022.

Leroy Edwards from the HOUEI Group, Japan will give insights on the Careworker and Japanese Language program while NOSPD Head Karen Dinsay will facilitate the orientation.

Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson said that 17 nurses and midwives, who graduated their two-year Vocational Careworker Course at Houshin School of Healthcare in Miyakonojo City, Miyazaki Prefecture, Japan on March 25 this year, are currently working full time at the HOUEI Group.

He added that 13 scholars, who are healthcare workers from Negros Occidental, will graduate next year and will have the opportunity to work full time in Japan as careworkers.
