A week after Junrey C. Nadela was employed as a cub reporter at Bombo Radyo, the People Power Revolution broke out, and he was reporting live while perched atop the gates of Camp Sergio Osmeña.

In 1987, he moved to dySB, where he was program and news director. After the station closed, he became a sports commentator for Radyo ng Bayan.

Junrey made the switch from radio to TV In 1991. ABS-CBN Cebu got him as a reporter and producer for “Lingkod Bayan,” a segment in “TV Patrol.” He rose to be a producer/host for “Maayong Buntag, Sugbu,” “Hoy Gising!” and “Sunday Knock-out.”

Since 1995, Junrey has covered the military and police beats for “TV Patrol Central Visayas.” He writes a column, “Asoy ni Junrey Nadela,” for Sun.Star Superbalita [Cebu].
