All set for Panaad Festival on April 17-23

THE Negros Occidental Provincial Government is all set for this year's Panaad sa Negros Festival that will be held on April 17 to 30, Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz II said Tuesday, February 7, 2023.

On February 13, a day before the Valentine's Day, Panaad Festival, the mother of all festivals in Negros Occidental, will be launched at the Provincial Lagoon and Park so that many could witness the event, Diaz said.

Three major concerts by Manila bands are set to perform, he added.

This year's Panaad Festival will feature the best of Negros products as the province will collaborate with the Association of Negros Producers (ANP) that will help with all the financial obligations and the Best of Negros products Trade Fair that will feature the best products of Negros.

The LGUs are already excited for the Lin-ay sang Negros and the showcase of the festival dances of all the localities in the province.

The Provincial Government has already allotted P24 million for the festival, this year's festival director, Engineer Jojo Amogod, Diaz said.
