‘Beware of scams,’ public told

Sunnexdesk

The Bacolod City Public Information Office has advised the public to be vigilant against scams.

In its Facebook post yesterday, August 17, the office said a restaurant in the city was a victim of a scammer who called and ordered food for the city government.

The caller said the order is intended for those distributing financial assistance at the lobby of the New Government Center.

The restaurant requested for anonymity, it added. (SSB)
