Teresa D. Ellera

MAYOR-elect Alejandro Mirasol of Binalbagan said that he will immediately order an audit and inventory of all government assets including the liabilities of the municipal government.

Mirasol also said that he also welcomes any move by his opponent, outgoing Mayor Emmanuel Aranda, to file an election protest.

"I don't know. Anyway that's his right. Any candidate can file a protest but on what ground, I do not know," Mirasol said.

Mirasol won in 12 out of 16 barangays in Binalbagan in the May 13 midterm elections.

He said that he will continue to work on his renewal program which stands for roads and infrastructure, environment, nutrition and social services, burial and medical, education and scholarship, agricultural and livelihood.
