Biopower donates laptop to San Carlos City

SAN Carlos City through Mayor Renato Gustilo received a laptop from the San Carlos Biopower Thursday, October 14, 2021, a press release said.

Josua Catalan, Health Safety Security and Environment press relations and Administrative senior manager of the firm said the equipment is an extra tool of their company which they want to share with the city government.

The donated gadget will be used by the City Health Office (CHO) in data gathering and monitoring during the conduct of vaccination especially in the far-flung barangays of San Carlos.

Catalan also said that in their own way, they want to help in putting a stop to the further spread of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) as part of their corporate responsibility towards the community by conducting awareness drives and the importance of vaccination.

Nurses and safety officers of Biopwer closely coordinate with the CHO in case workers will be tested positive or in close contact/s with a positive patient.

He added that as of today, 61 percent of their total workers have been vaccinated and will increase to 80 to 90 percent by the end of October.

City Administrator lawyer Estefanio S. Libutan Jr., John Michael L Combate, Admin Asstistant Manager and Manuel C. Bernardino were also present during the turnover. (PR)
