NEGROS Occidental Provincial Planning and Development coordinator Ma. Lina Sanogal confirmed on Thursday, March 21, that the Provincial Development Council (PDC) approved the 2020 Provincial Annual Investment Plan (AIP) pegged at P10 billion.

The PDC approved the AIP during its regular meeting on Thursday.

Sanogal also revealed that the PDC also approved a Supplemental AIP budget for 2019 amounting to P498 million.

She said that supplemental budget will need the concurrence of the Provincial Board.

Sanogal explained that the AIP for 2020 already has fund sources for personnel services, maintenance and other operating expenses and capital outlay.

All the programs and projects are still subject to review depending on the availability of funds next year.

Meanwhile, Sanogal explained that the approved Supplemental AIP for 2019 includes funds to be used for the repair of the temporary offices, which will be rented by the Provincial Government for the offices that will be affected by the implementation of the P1.7 billion investment of Dynamic Builders Inc. at the Provincial Administration Center (PAC).

Sanogal said that the offices affected already found temporary places but these still need dividers.

Once the temporary offices are already in place and the affected offices could move out from PAC, the demolition will start to give way for the construction of the new mixed-use building from Dynamic Builders Inc. (TDE)
