A LEVEL two high-value target drug personality was injured after he was shot by two unidentified men on a motorcycle in Barangay Gargato, Hinigaran, Negros Occidental Monday night, April 22.

Wounded was Gary Rosal, 34, of Barangay III. He is an alleged member of a drug group existing in the town and engaging in illegal drug trade.

Police Major Jake Barila, town police chief, said the suspect was a former drug surrenderer but he was caught allegedly holding "pot session" in a drug bust two years ago. He, however, managed to escape during the operation.

He also previously got involved in a traffic accident but he abandoned his motorcycle since he's hiding from the police, Barila said.

Police have yet to determine the motive of the incident.

Rosal is confined at a hospital in Bacolod City.
