HPG nets 60 traffic violators

THE Highway Patrol Group (HPG) in Negros Occidental has apprehended a total of 60 traffic violators in San Carlos City on November 13.

The operation was led by Senior Inspector Robelito Mariano, along with the Provincial Law Enforcement Team of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) headed by Argey Carbo.

Five violators were apprehended for not wearing helmets, five others for not having driver’s licenses, 10 for failure to wear seat belts, one for sporting one plate, five for not bringing their official receipts/certificates of registration of their motorcycles, and one for not having a plate number.

Authorities also caught a person with an unauthorized attachment of a blinker, one for illegal attachment of LED bar, seven for having defected signal light, five for obstruction, two for having unregistered licenses, and 17 for violating other traffic-related laws. (GYM)
