Over P353,000 shabu seized in Barangay Mansilingan

AN ESTIMATED P353,600 worth of suspected shabu was seized in a joint drug bust operation by operatives of Police Station 6 and Special Operation Unit-Western Visayas at Grandville 2 Subdivision, Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod City, at about 2:50 p.m. Monday, March 13.

The operation also led to the arrest of Ian Alindog, 27, a resident of the said village.

Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) showed Alindog was arrested after he sold a sachet of shabu to a poseur buyer.

Police recovered from Alindog's possession one heat-sealed plastic, one big knot-tied plastic, five big heat sealed plastics containing suspected shabu weighing 52 grams, the P3,500 marked money, and drug paraphernalia.

The police said Alindog was identified as a high-value individual in Bacolod City. He was under surveillance for almost a month before his arrest.

The suspect is being held at the custodial facility of Police Station 6. He will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.*
