SPRINT 4t Racer demolished then No. 2 Ultron Extra, 81-68, to win the 36 and Above title in the Fil-Sino Petron Cup 2018 at Bacolod Tay Tung High School covered court.

Mark Binguan fired eight points as Cris Javelosa dropped six markers to push Ultron Extra to a 19-15 advantage in the opening quarter while Ritche Militante fired nine points for Sprint 4t Racer.

Guanzon scored 12 points in the 2nd quarter while Celhelm Uy knocked down two triples as Sprint 4t Racer caught up at the break at 36-all despite Arnol Laureño holding the ground for Ultron Extra with 12 markers.

Oliver Manaloto sizzled for 13 points all in the third quarter with a perfect 8 of 8 from the 15-foot line to give Sprint 4t Racer a 58-54 advantage as Kendrick Deloria supported with six points.

In the final quarter, Rey Pandoro delivered six more points as Laureño added four points but weren’t enough as Michael Ang and Guanzon combined for 13 points.

Guanzon led Sprint 4t Racer with 17 points as Militante made 11 points and Jeff Maningo added seven markers.

Pandoro paced Ultron Extra with 18 points, Laureño with 16 points, and Javelosa shot eight markers. (HGD)
