Adroitness: An art exhibit & trunk show

Brenda Lee Villanueva

ADROITNESS (dexterity and competence), an art exhibit and trunk show was held May 11 at the Tam-awan Village Gallery. It was indeed a harmonious celebration of art and fashion.

This featured Clinton Anniversario, a sculptor, painter and photographer and Harvic Dominguez, a renowned Cordilleran designer. This one of a kind show is directed by Chai Ramos and is in partnership with the Chanum Foundation Inc. The opening ceremonies was graced by Baguio City Tourism Officer Engr. Alec Mapalo, VP for Academic Affairs of the University of the Cordilleras Rhodora Ngolob and Jordan Mang-osan president of Chanum Foundation Inc.

This event is a prelude to the “Pista ng Bayan”, a month long activity across the whole of Canada to celebrate the Filipino Heritage month.

Catch our Cordilleran pride and very own artist and fashion designer at the City of Surrey, Province of British Columbia, Canada on June 22 and 23 and at the North Plaza Vancouver Art Gallery on June 29 at Downtown Vancouver.

This is in partnership with the United Filipino-Canadian Asso. and the Chanum Foundation.
