A GROUP of Korean investors has expressed intention to put up a cosmetics factory in Misamis Oriental.

Dr. Jun Myung Ha, a specialist in the immune system and bacteria in Korea, together with his partner Baek Heui Sook and other investors Han Myung Soo and Jung Young Kyui met with Provincial Governor Yevgeny Emano last week and offered to set up a manufacturing plant on cosmetic products, medicine, and coconut and berry juice in the province.

“In Korea, there are so many development centers and this center support for research and study. I also own a center. I’m willing to share with Misamis Oriental through Governor Bambi Emano. I’m willing to share the ideas that I have to develop and support Misamis Oriental. So please help me and support me,” Dr. Jun Myung Ha said in Korean.

During their courtesy call, the Korean investors said they have faith and confidence in the current leadership of the governor, adding that they would like to help the agricultural sector of the province with the assistance of the Department of Trade and Industry through their coco coir factory, food innovation center, among others.

Emano, for his part, has directed the department heads to coordinate with the Korean investors, particularly in accompanying them to agricultural tourism sites.
