SOME areas in Cagayan de Oro City will experience no water supply for around 10 hours, from 10 p.m. on Friday, January 6, 2023, to 8 a.m. on January 7.

This, after the Cagayan de Oro Water District (COWD) has announced in its advisory that its bulk water supplier, Cagayan de Oro Bulk Water Inc., would conduct an annual maintenance shutdown for the booster pump common header and block valve system.

Affected areas are Barangays Camaman-an, Upper Carmen, Lumbia, Canitoan, Pagatpat, Patag, Aluba, Mandumol, Buena Oro, and Bulua to Opol.

The Cowd has advised all concessionaires in the said affected areas to store enough water for their consumption during the interruption period.

The city's water district also assured that all efforts will be taken to restore normal water supply the soonest possible time.
