Soldier nabbed for grave threat

POLICE have arrested a soldier in Lumbo, Valencia City, Bukidnon after he threatened his drinking buddy during their drinking session.

The suspect was identified as Private First Class Raymund Sarausa, 26, an active member of the Philippine Army under the 67th Infantry Battalion in Davao Oriental.

Sarausa allegedly used his issued .45 caliber firearm.

Police Colonel Roel Lami-ing, provincial police director of Bukidnon ordered the Valencia City Police to arrest Sarausa for grave threat.

He allegedly threatened a certain Ariel Ollada, 26, a resident in the same city.

Seized from his possession is the .45 caliber, 20 pieces of live ammunition, and 3 magazines.

Sarausa is currently detained in Valencia City Police Station.

Police yesterday charged Sarausa with grave threat, including illegal possession of firearms as he failed to present his firearm license.
