Tax Notes: Availability of TIN verification/validation, RDO finder and eComplaint facility in BIR chatbot (Revie)

Sunnexdesk

As noted in Revenue Memorandum Circular (RMC) 146-2022 dated Nov. 10, 2022, the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has announced the launch of the improved BIR Digital Assistant Chatbot Revie, which now features TIN (tax identification number) verification/validation, Revenue District Office (RDO) finder, and eComplaint facility. The TIN verification/validation is a new feature that will help taxpayers with TIN and RDO inquiries. While the eComplaint feature will assist taxpayers in filing grievances/complaints against establishments for non-issuance of receipts/invoices, tax evasion, and other violations of Tax Code provisions. Complaints against errant BIR officials/staff can also be submitted through the eComplaint facility.

Please be guided accordingly.
