Cebu Pacific cancels 6 Clark flights

AFTER the magnitude 6.1 earthquake struck Luzon, Cebu Pacific announced the cancellation of six flights to and from the Clark International Airport.

The Department of Transportation in a statement announced the closure of Clark International Airport for 24-hours pending assessment of the airport facility after the damages caused by the earthquake.

The cancelled flights are the following:

5J 120 Clark-Hong Kong

5J 121 Hong Kong-Clark

5J 370 Clark-Macau

5J 371 Macau-Clark

5J 608 Clark-Cebu

5J 609 Cebu-Clark

Cebu Pacific, in an advisory in their official Facebook account, advised passengers of the cancelled flights that they may do the following:

1. Rebook their flights for travel within 30 days from original departure date, free of charge

2. Get a full refund

3. Place the full cost of the ticket in a Travel Fund

4. Re-route to flights to Clark, Hong Kong or Cebu via Manila

The advisory also stated affected passengers will be notified via email or text message and they may manage their own booking through the “Manage Booking” section of the Cebu Pacific website (www.cebupacificair.com).
