Utzurrum: Cebu Chamber’s Manila trip

Chinggay V. Utzurrum

THE Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) thought it was a brilliant idea to touch base with companies in the National Capital Region (NCR) to initiate interest and support for the forthcoming Cebu Business Month (CBM) in June. CBM happens to be CCCI’s foremost ambitious month-long project embodying national and local participation through sponsorships and partnerships.

The Manila roadshow, which took place for four days last February was composed of CCCI’s stalwarts: CBM overall chairman for 2020 Michael Cubos and CCCI president Virgillo Espeleta, who led the business group with CBM vice-chairman Gerald Yuvallos, CBM lead advisor Lilu Aliño, CBM division head Maribel Melgar and CBM division officer Jovito Bocado.

Some of the leading corporations they interacted with were Microsoft Phils., Amazon Web Services, Grab Phils, Easter Communications, Animation Council of the Phils., Manila Bulletin, Air Asia and Cebu Pacific Air.

Here’s to a bountiful harvest, CCCI!
