DR. TERENCE Anthony Bermejo, chief of the Bureau of Quarantine in the region said the IATF's quarantine protocol will be followed for the arriving returning overseas Filipinos and overseas Filipino workers in Cebu.

He, however, said the swab upon arrival policy of the Province remains in addition to the required RT-PCR test on the seventh day of the quarantine period.

"Actually mag hybrid na siya. Kang Gov. Gwen ug sa IATF," he said.

ROFs and OFWs who tested negative during the swab upon arrival can continue with their quarantine at their designated hotel while waiting for another swab test on the seventh day.

If they test negative on the swab test conducted on the seventh day, they can then continue with their quarantine in the hotel until they finish the 10 days required quarantine period and spend the rest four days of the quarantine in their LGUs.

While those who tested positive on the swab upon arrival will be transferred to the designated isolation facility of the local government unit. (WBS)
