Building of police station in Inayawan to push through

Sunnexdesk

CEBU City Police Office Director Royina Garma said on Wednesday, September 19, that they will push through with the construction of a new police station in Barangay Inayawan.

She said she received text messages about illegal activities, including drug trade, happening near the barangay hall.

Garma said the lot near the barangay hall was donated by previous village chairman and council. She said there is a deed of donation to prove the transfer of ownership.

The police official questioned Inayawan Barangay Captain Kirk Bryan Repollo's move to oppose the construction of the new police station.

Repollo, for his part, said he is not opposed to it but he does not want it in front of the barangay hall as it might cause traffic. (KAL)
