A MOTORCYCLE-FOR-HIRE (habal-habal) dispatcher got wounded after he was shot by the riding-in-tandem at 8:32 p.m. on Monday, June 26, 2023, in Barangay Poblacion, Liloan town, northern Cebu.

The victim was identified as Edgar Pilapil, of legal age, a resident of Sitio Landing, Barangay Catarman of the said municipality.

The victim was seated in the area when the motorcycle’s backride approached him and shot him in the back.

According to Police Major Eric Gingoyon, chief of the Liloan Police Station, the victim was previously detained twice for possession of illegal substances, once by agents of the Provincial Intelligence Unit and once by officers of the Liloan Police Station. (BBT, TPT)
