MEMBERS of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Central Visayas arrested a lotto outlet teller during a buy-bust in Purok 7, Barangay Lourdes, Panglao town, Bohol around 6:30 p.m. last Monday, January 23, 2023.

With the assistance of the Panglao Police Station, they seized P442,000 worth of shabu from 32-year-old Noi Clet, alias Ondoy.

Leia Alcantara, PDEA 7 spokesperson, said they received word that Clet was involved in the illegal drug trade, prompting them to place him under surveillance for a month before conducting the operation.

Alcantara said the suspect could dispose of 200 grams of shabu a week based on the information they gathered.

She said Clet will be charged with violating Republic Act 916, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (BBT, PJB)
