Man dies after getting hit by bus in Boljoon

A 60-YEAR-OLD man died after he was hit by a passenger bus around 3 p.m. Tuesday, November 13, on the national highway in Barangay El Pardo, Boljoon, Cebu.

Police identified the fatality as Julio Sesuelo.

Investigation showed that the victim crossed the highway when he was hit by a Ceres bus driven by Malbin Romano, 52.

Romano surrendered to the police after the incident.

This was the second vehicular accident involving a Ceres bus in southern Cebu within 23 hours.

Around 4 p.m. Monday, November 12, Wolfgang Zago Muller, 75, also died after he was hit by a bus driven by Efren Quinto Padigos in Barangay Guiwang, Alcoy.

Muller was driving his motorcycle before the accident happened. He turned left to enter the gate of Dive Point Resort when the bus overtook a truck and hit him.

A medical team of Alcoy Municipal Government rushed Muller to a public hospital in Dalaguete town, where he was declared dead. (KAL)
