SUV catches fire in Pardo

A SPORTS utility vehicle (SUV) caught fire along the national highway in M. Dela Victoria Street, Barangay Pardo, Cebu City, on Monday evening, August 15, 2022.

Firemen responded to the area after receiving the fire alarm at 7:06 p.m.

The fire was totally extinguished at 7:13 p.m.

Cebu City Fire Investigator Fulbert Navarro said that faulty electrical wirings might have caused the fire that damaged the SUV vehicle Hyundai Sta. Fe owned by a certain Jesus Lozano.

But he said they still have to check the wirings to ascertain the cause of the fire.

Navarro estimated the fire damage at P88,000. (BBT, TPT)
