Tagbilaran city administrator's son nabbed for party drugs

THE son of the city administrator of Tagbilaran City, Bohol was arrested for allegedly having suspected ecstasy tablets in his possession during a drug bust on Saturday, August 10, 2019.

Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Central Visayas and the National Bureau of Investigation Central Visayas collared Eric John Borja inside the Crescent Ville Hotel, Gallares Street, Tagbilaran City, Bohol.

NBI Bohol Director lawywer Renan Oliva confirmed that Borja is the son of City Administrator Leonides "Edi" Borja.

Seized from him were seven assorted tablets of suspected ecstasy with an estimated market value of P11,900, the buy-bust money and an iPhone.

A case for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspect. (SunStar Cebu)
